Bangalore --- It's time to freeze and admire the best shots captured and framed at 'Frozen memories '09, being held at Chitrakala Parishath.

With no theme in particular, this photo exhibition showcases 200 photographs of 100 working photojournalists of Bangalore. One can see political leaders in a different avatar, wildlife photographs, sportspersons in action, developments in the city, protests, colourful festivals, and nature at its best.

Many of the photos are of daily happenings or 'ordinary' things that we see in the neighbourhood. But what makes them noteworthy is the angle of the shot, and use of light and shade.

The Photojournalists' Association of Bangalore is organizing the exhibition for the fifth year. The idea is to promote photojournalism, said a member. The exhibition helps in learning from each other's work and getting to know new techniques.

The association was set up 10 years ago, with just 25 members. Now, it has 100. The exhibition is open till Wednesday.
