INDONESIA: Yudhoyono on another media tour

Incumbent president speaks with 'Seputar Indonesia' and 'Republika' reporters and editors

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited two national media offices to talk to editors and reporters on Friday.

The president arrived at the offices of the Seputar Indonesia daily on Jl. Kebon Sirih in Central Jakarta at around 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

From there, President Yudhoyono is scheduled to make a similar visit to the Republika daily on Jl. Warung Buncit in South Jakarta later in the day, after performing Friday prayers at Al Ittihad mosque on Jl. Pejaten Raya, close to the Republika office.

On Wednesday President Yudhoyono visited the offices of the Kompas daily and Tempo magazine.

Vice President Jusuf Kalla was involved in a similar schedule with a focus on the media, meeting members of the Indonesian Television Journalists Association.
