firstname.lastname@example.org Ahran Park is a Ph.D. student at the School of Journalism and Communication focusing on media law and policy at the University of Oregon. She is also a teaching fellow in the Communication Law course for undergraduates. Before receiving a master's degree in communications from Seoul National University, she was a news reporter for the Chosun Ilbo, a major daily newspaper in South Korea. As a reporter, she mainly reported on the court and police beat. Her research interests revolve around issues of defamation and invasion of privacy on the Internet.
