Maintained by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs, National Disaster Management is an extensive database of news and resources about tsunami reconstruction and other disaster management. The site includes detailed situation reports from South India and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. NDM also has information about local NGOs involved in rehabilitation and official government plans on the implementation of safety measures and responding to disasters.

The website for the Maldives Ministry of Finance remains under construction but continues to provide reports on financial support for tsunami reconstruction on its homepage. Older reports can be found in the special section of the website that provides information about tsunami recovery and reconstruction activities.
- United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Maldives
Along with offering support to the government of the Maldives in the areas of
democratic governance, pro-poor policies and environmental protection, the
UNDP is now actively involved in post-tsunami recovery efforts. The UNDP's
Adopt-An-Island program focuses on shelter,
infrastructure, livelihoods, disaster risk-management and aid co-ordination.
The objective of the program is to generate public and private sector support
to sustain the post-tsunami recovery effort in the country.

- United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Myanmar
In Myanmar, the UNDP is delivering its assistance through a program called the
Human Development Initiative (HDI) that focuses on helping poor communities
to meet their basic needs, promoting collective decision-making by all segments
of society and building communities capable of supporting themselves. The
HDI operates in 24 townships and in six regions of the country.

The publication is designed as an educational and information resource. It provides background about important issues facing Burma today and offers a short list of resources where further information may be obtained. The online version of the publication is updated regularly.
